New Creative Village Renderings from Winning RFP
By Johnny Todero on August 16, 2010Add CommentsThe City of Orlando has released a look at the winning proposal for the rights to develop the Creative Village project. The PDF file contains the winning proposal from the Creative Village Development, LLC team. As mentioned on a previous Curbanism post, the winning team is a joint venture between Ustler Development and Banc of America Community Development Corporation. The proposal theme is “Right Team, Right Time”, includes several new conceptual renderings that are much more detailed then any that have been released so far. I have not seen any other proposals that were submitted, but as the proposal tagline reads, it seems as though the “right team” for the job was chosen. Overall this proposal was very insightful and provided a lot of details on plans for land use, financing and timeline. I especially like the mix of building heights shown in the new renderings.
